5 Signs You Might Need to Attend Fiji’s First Ever Loloma Tantra Festival

I’ve been back in Fiji barely a week, and it’s been a wonderful wave of creative flow. I became part of the local operations team on behalf of ISTA, the International School of Temple Arts, in organizing Fiji’s first Loloma Tantra Festival. “Loloma” is a Fijian word that means love. Tantra is about connecting deeply and being your true self. A perfect fit for Alchemus Prime!

So, I’ve been working closely with Louise Claire of ISTA, and Ilana Burness of Ilana’s Heart Yoga, who brought me into this delicious work, and whom I wrote about recently, to birth this beautiful event. The festival is a 1.5 day buffet of various workshops, meditations, yoga, artisanal stalls, and dancing with amazing facilitators from 7 countries.

We are offering fun and informative sessions starting on Friday afternoon with an opening guided meditation by yours truly and meditative yoga session with Ilana, then the art of healthy relationships – (what we didn’t learn growing up but should have), followed by a celebration ceremony including heart opening cacao ceremony from Louise, and a DJ dance session.

Activities on Saturday will range from hatha yoga, effectively setting wellness goals, dance, breathwork, raw food demonstration, thought field therapy and an exciting panel featuring Business Coaching Fiji, themed “Heart of Business” with four local entrepreneurs sharing their journeys in business and how they’ve integrated their values with making money.

This festival is fiercely inclusive: we invite people with learning, physical, or other disabilities, the LGBTQIA community, and the business and nonprofit sectors to engage.

Here’s how you can tell if you need to be there with us, on June 7 and 8 at the exquisitely beautiful and serene Fiji Beachouse – if you answer yes to even ONE of these statements:

  1. I am seeking new avenues to blossom personally and professionally.
  2. I’m in a life, career, or love transition and want to explore methods for feeling more centered, grounded, and clear.
  3. I am an entrepreneur seeking ways to stay true to myself and lower stress and fear.
  4. I feel depleted or tired, and need replenishment from life’s daily grind.
  5. I am excited to learn and share ways to be well and spread joy.
