Year In Review: 9 Avenues for Authentic Service

As we reflect on 2021 from a professional standpoint, we are excited to report how effectively Alchemus Prime, our company, was able to bring change management expertise, leadership, service, and healing to our clients. We worked with CEOs and directors, women’s organizations, and others to co-create experiences and document results that indicate the rise of authenticity and the demise of conditioned, trauma-induced behaviors in the workplace. As a life coach, I was ecstatic to see how my clients progressed closer to their true selves, and overcame their fears to embrace change and vulnerability. The dance of deep inner work leading to profound team and organizational results was visible and bountiful in 2021.

Here are some highlights of our work:

  1. Change Management and Team Dynamics: We led workshops and retreats that helped create a team culture of self-care, mindful communication, and healthy boundaries for a pioneering organization. The results include stronger relationships, better policies, improved communication, and more resilience in the face of massive restructuring and transition for the organization with pandemic restrictions on top of it all.
  2. Life Coaching and Trauma Healing: I coached leaders who are sensitive, innovative, and strategic, witnessing their transformation and movement away from conditioned behaviors and toward more self-love, reflection, and authenticity through the courageous decision to be vulnerable and adopt a beginner’s mindset.
  3. Documentation: I wrote numerous reports, documenting the processes and outcomes of consulting work undertaken to assist teams in managing change and team dynamics better – best practices and lessons learned that emerge from these reports provide a foundation for new operational procedures and HR practices for clients.
  4. Writing and Publishing: We wrote or co-wrote 9 books and published 7 of them, completing our Living and Leading Authentically series and our work with incarcerated individuals, and continuing to add to our poetry and recipe book collections.
  5. Guided Meditation: I recorded a guided meditation for a team of women’s human rights defenders, supporting their activism with a new foundation of self-care. We aim to record a set of guided meditations in 2022.
  6. Service: We continued with 6 service projects, bringing awareness to wellness, trauma, positivity, mindfulness, and many more topics, via Mornings with Marilyn, Beyond Medicine, Dr. An, and other programming via social media.
  7. Speaking Engagements: We took on diverse speaking engagements, supporting girls in Artificial Intelligence working on climate change projects, African Youth and Fijian communities seeking balance and wellness, women seeking self-care in chaotic pandemic conditions, and those seeking to understand women’s leadership in a COVID-positive world.
  8. Professional Development: We undertook 9 professional development courses, spanning topics like safeguarding children, preventing sexual exploitation, harassment, and fraud, as well as creating cultures of care as a facilitator who works within the women’s movement.
  9. Vegan Documentary: We recorded footage for an upcoming vegan documentary by Kamal Prasad called A Day in the Life…, highlighting our healthy plant-based and gluten-free cooking processes, as we released our latest recipe books: Purpose of Love and Promise of Love.

In 2022, we are continuing our change management and team dynamics work, looking forward to reaching a milestone of 30 books published, and embarking on a sustainable fashion initiative. Stay tuned.

Share with us your milestones of 2021, and let’s support each other to reach newer heights in 2022.
