5 Facts about Transformation

This past week I was moved to tears a few times. One example was when a former student of mine received an offer that finally evidenced her worth, after decades of working for abusive bosses. A second instance was when a current client reconciled with a parent after 40 years.

What brings transformation?

Here are some facts about transformation that are important to keep in mind as we journey along this unpredictable and beautiful life:

  1. It takes hard work: Transformation comes when you turn inward and face your demons. This includes the trauma and resulting patterns of coping mechanisms that run your life. Without this, the hardest work you’ll ever do, you don’t have a hope of reaping the sweetest rewards ever: self-love, confidence, and integrity. If you’re willing and ready to do the work, then transformation will come…with behavioral science and other tools from our method, transformation is imminent, but it still requires your readiness and cooperation.
  2. You should know the what: It’s important to know what you want. You should know what your goals are, and clear the fog inside the heart and mind to discover your passions and purpose. It’s there inside you. Deep down, you already know what you want and what you’re meant for.
  3. You need to let go of the how: It’s important to release fear and not try to control how your dreams come true. Often there is a magically wonderful way that outcomes present themselves – ways we could not have thought of even if we racked our brains for ages. It happens when we get out of our own way. For that, it’s important to have a guide.
  4. Your mantra is “love, trust, and surrender”: Love yourself and everyone else involved, trust yourself and the universe to bring you what you deserve, and surrender the outcomes. See #3 🙂
  5. Stay in the now: Transformation happens in the present. We address anxiety and stress in the current moment. Living in the past or future creates misery, not change. Stay present, and watch your thought patterns. This will help you become a witness instead of being stuck in the past or frozen by fear of the future.

Awww thank you. I am SO glad we connected. Yes, one step at a time, and one moment at a time when necessary…and thoughts are not you…they are just thoughts. Some thoughts are better not to believe…just to let them pass…like the breeze or the water in a river…watch them…<3 I'm privileged to be a part of your blossoming!
