Google Joining Vegan Food Trend

Wow! Google has announced that it is adding plant-based fare to its food program worldwide. This move is to raise awareness about the benefits of vegan food for human health and environmental health, and is happening in collaboration with Menus for Change and Harvard School of Public Health.

This news comes right before world’s largest chain of convenience stores, 7-11’s decision to switch to vegan mayo. Hampton Creek, maker of that vegan mayo, couldn’t be happier.

Last year James and Suzy Cameron created the first plant-based school. A list of celebrities are vegan for their health and for the environment. This trend looks like it’s here to stay; after all, if you could benefit personal and planetary wellness with a single action, why wouldn’t you? Common sense never felt (or tasted) so good!

One of my recent organic plant-based creations: soba noodles with white beans and wilted spinach, tossed in sesame oil, chili flakes, and Bragg's amino acid soy sauce.
