4 Reasons to Fill Your Days with Purpose and Promise: Twin Book Release

The pandemic has posed a unique challenge to all of us, around the globe. For our family, it was a time of confinement to the home, and constraints in terms of eating out. As a result, we ramped up our experimentation with recipes, adhering to our principles of self-love, self-care, and alignment with local, seasonal foods. The results speak for themselves: our twin book release, Purpose of Love, and Promise of Love, bursting with recipes that are good for you and for our amazing planet. Even on days when we struggled with the restrictions, we found joy in creation of these recipes.

Purpose of Love is filled with fun recipes that encourage playfulness and exploration. The pages of this book are filled with breakfasts, snacks, meals and desserts that are delicious and boast our usual gluten-free, plant-based, low oil, no refined sugar, and low salt modus operandi. We invite you to try these recipes with children you know and love. In a world where child obesity is an epidemic, and children’s foods are laden with toxic sugars, preservatives, flavors, and other chemicals, we consistently promote wholesome and delicious alternatives delivered directly from Mother Earth.

Promise of Love is about the vow we all might want to consider: a vow of self-love. To nourish our bodies so we can flourish in alignment with Nature and live in love with life. This love is expressed through recipes that draw from the four seasons and satiate the senses with hearty goodness. In this book, we explore local and seasonal delights such as jackfruit. Adapt these recipes for your own local context, and enter a loving relationship with your food. Nature provides us the fruits and vegetables our body needs according to the seasons, so we would be wise to follow her guidance.

Together, these two recipe books are powerful invitations to reassess our food choices and habits. When we are nourished well, our bodies and minds become optimally focused, and we align with our purpose and passion in this life. We hope you will step up to the call: Purpose of Love and Promise of Love are gifts you can choose to give yourself and to loved ones this holiday season, if you’re wanting a transformative way to love yourself, food, and Nature.

Our 4 reasons to fill your days with purpose and promise are:

  1. This is your life, and your wellbeing is one of the few things within your control – take charge!
  2. If you don’t love yourself enough to become your own wellness champion, no one else will.
  3. There isn’t a more fundamental way to uplift children than to empower them to build healthy eating habits.
  4. Wellness isn’t about fad diets, it’s about a set of steady habit changes and it’s time to start on the path of purpose and promise.
