No More Internal Combustion Engine in California?

Michael Killen, a friend who is a climate artist and filmmaker recently interviewed my mentor, Jim Sweeney about a debate at the upcoming Energy Summit on June 25th at Stanford University. Interestingly, the debate is about whether the internal combustion engine (ICE) has a future in California. I’m curious about which side will win the debate, but even more curious to see if we indeed phase out the ICE. My friend and arborist Dave Muffly gave me this analogy years ago, which I have not been able to get out of my mind: every car is like a little mobile volcano, spewing greenhouse gases all over the place. We can certainly do without them! Go California, let’s lead on this!!
