As a climate change professional, I’m very familiar with the acronym COP, and in 2015 we’re having COP21 in Paris. It stands for Conference of the Parties, and is an annual meeting of the (wait for it) UNFCCC – the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (yes it’s a mouthful). In any case, this guide from GreenBiz is an excellent way to learn all about this stressful meeting where global climate scientists, and leaders work at agreeing on climate policies and targets for greenhouse gas reduction. This year is an important one because climate change is accelerating, predicted to continue to escalate, and we really need to take decisive action.
